What Nebraska’s Scott Frost said during National Signing Day presser

National Signing Day proved to be somewhat of a busy day for Scott Frost and his Nebraska staff. The Huskers landed a pair of highly-recruited prospects to add to the 2022 class.
The Huskers flipped 3-star running back Ajay Allen from TCU and later flipped 4-star wide receiver Janiran Bonner from Georgia Tech. Those two pledges bumped Nebraska out of the last-placed spot in the B1G recruiting rankings.
Wednesday afternoon, Frost met with reporters for his National Signing Day presser. The head coach talked about the 2022 recruiting class, the major changes he’s made to his staff, the quarterback competition, injuries and other things.
Here’s what Frost had to say as Nebraska closes the book on the 2022 class and sets its sights on spring football:
"As some of these quarterbacks were bouncing around like lotto balls… feel good about where we landed."

Tight end Travis Vokolek, defensive lineman Damian Jackson and running back Gabe Ervin will also be limited or held out of spring practice as they recover from injuries, Frost said.

Punter Daniel Cerni is set to go on medical hardship, Frost says. Nebraska signed FCS All-American punter Brian Buschini in December.

Frost said there's a bunch of guys in conversation for being the center. Says Turner Corcoran is a guy capable of playing all five spots if needed. But Teddy Prochazka and Corcoran are both out this spring due to injuries.
