With Jim Harbaugh’s return to Michigan, it appeared that the college football head coaching carousel was slowing down. While things have slowed, a report out of the SEC could start things up again in the near future.

Rumors surrounding the situation of coach Bryan Harsin at Auburn have escalated to close the week. However, John Talty with AL.com would only go on record as saying that there is a “concerted effort” to make Harsin’s situation “untenable” for a Year 2 with the program.

Talty went on to say that the situation is moving quickly in Auburn with Harsin providing “plenty of ammo” for a potential decision.

Among things we do know, ex-Auburn DL Lee Hunter transferred and said that Tigers players were treated “like dogs” within the program.

Auburn finished 6-7 with a loss in the Birmingham Bowl during Harsin’s first season. Whether or not he gets a second will be interesting to see with Friday’s reports.
