Chris Ash is heading for a new job in the NFL per a Sunday evening report.
Ash has been around the college ranks at a number of different spots. In the B1G, Ash served as a defensive assistant with stops at Wisconsin and Ohio State. He also spent parts of 4 seasons at Rutgers but finished with a disappointing 8-33 record.
For the 2021 season, Ash was a part of Urban Meyer’s NFL staff with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Meyer’s stint did not go well, to say the least, and Ash is reportedly on the move to a new destination.
According to Ryan Dunleavy with the New York Post, Ash is joining the staff of the Las Vegas Raiders under new head coach Josh McDaniels. Ash is expected to coach DBs for the Raiders under DC Patrick Graham.
