Ohio State basketball adds commitment from 2023 in-state center

Ohio State basketball picked up a 2023 commitment on Sunday. Austin Parks, a 6-9 center from Saint Marys, Ohio, announced his pledge to the Buckeyes.
Parks, out of Memorial, narrowed his choices to a final 3 of Ohio State, Indiana and West Virginia heading into Sunday’s announcement.
On the 247Sports Composite, Parks is rated 3-stars, the No. 6 Ohio recruit, No. 18 center and No. 148 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023. He had 9 scholarship offers ahead of Sunday’s announcement.
Parks give Chris Holtmann and his staff 2 commitments in the class of 2023. George Washington III, a top-50 prospect out of Louisville, pledged to OSU on Nov. 3, 2021.
