Keegan Murray put on a show in the first half in Columbus.

Saturday afternoon, Iowa made the trek to Ohio State for a matinee contest in the B1G. The Hawkeyes are looking to pull off an upset over the 18th-ranked Buckeyes and were in good shape at the break thanks to Murray.

Murray scored 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor to help Iowa to a 39-38 halftime advantage. He also had 3 rebounds and an assist through the first 20 minutes.

Saturday’s game between Iowa and Ohio State is the only meeting between the two teams during the regular season. The Hawkeyes are looking to boost their NCAA Tournament resume while the Buckeyes are hoping to stay alive in the race for a B1G title.

Murray is one of the top contenders for the B1G Player of the Year honor this season. He’s averaging 23.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. He’s also averaging an assist and a steal per game.
