Michigan moved past Michigan State in a 62-51 win on senior night to secure a double-bye in the B1G women’s basketball tournament on Thursday.

The Wolverines were especially helped by the performance of senior forward Naz Hillmon. She contributed 28 points and 8 rebounds to help lift her team past the Spartans.

This was yet another big scoring night from Hillmon. So far this season, she has scored over 30 points twice, and 40 points once this season for the Wolverines. She’s averaging 20.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists this season.

No. 6 Michigan will finish off the 2021 season with an away game against No. 21 Iowa on Sunday on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. ET.

The start of the women’s B1G tournament will be on March 2nd at 2 p.m. ET.
