Indiana is still living life on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers at the very least kept hopes alive for a postseason bid by taking down Minnesota Sunday evening.
In what turned out to be a closer than expected finish, the Hoosiers held off the Gophers for an 84-79 win. In that game, Rob Phinisee returned to action and chipped in 8 points on 3-for-6 shooting.
After the game, head coach Mike Woodson discussed the outlook for a pair of injured Hoosiers in Trey Galloway and Khristian Lander. He did not provide a firm timetable for when they would return to action with time in the season running low.
Woodson said tonight he doesn’t have a firm timetable for the return of Trey Galloway (groin) or Khristian Lander (leg). Worth saying everything was pretty vague on Phinisee until the day it wasn’t, but that’s your update. #iubb
