Ohio State’s football staff is getting a little bigger.
Monday, 247Sports confirmed that Zach Grant will serve as the program’s director of player personnel and Nick Murphy will be the director of recruiting strategy. Both are in off-field roles with the Buckeyes.
Grant spent the last five years working at Western Kentucky, where he was most recently the general manager of the Hilltoppers football program. He started out as the director of player personnel when he took a job in 2017.
Murphy was the director of player personnel at Charlotte in 2021. He previously worked as a defensive graduate assistant with the program.
These new additions are the latest in a flurry of changes Ryan Day made since the end of the 2021 season. Ohio State failed to claim a B1G title and lost the regular season finale to Michigan, prompting the head coach to re-evaluate his staff.
