Foster Loyer transferred out of East Lansing this past offseason after 3 years with the Spartans. He landed at Davidson of the Atlantic 10 conference where he flourished during the 2021-22 season.

With the Wildcats capturing the regular-season conference title, Loyer appeared in 25 games and led Davidson with 16.8 points per game. He also led the team with 3.4 assists and shot 46% from the floor and 45% from 3-point range.

When the regular season came to a conclusion, Loyer was tabbed to the 2nd-team all-conference team. Most notably, Loyer led the country with a .935 free-throw percentage and finished 3rd in the country in 3-point field goal percentage.

At 25-5 overall, Davidson is the top seed for its conference tournament and will look to make the  NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
