Iowa took control of this game early, and never let go in a high scoring 112-76 win. The Hawkeyes also broke the B1G tournament records for field goals (43), points scored in a game, and largest margin of victory (36).

The team as a whole hit 19 three-pointers, breaking a B1G tournament record. The Hawkeyes continued to rely on Keegan Murray to lead them in scoring throughout the 2nd half, and he didn’t disappoint. Murray finished the game with 26 points going 3-for-3 from three-point range. The runner up in points for Iowa was Jordan Bohannon, who ended the game with 17 points going 5-for-8 from beyond the arch.

The only time that Northwestern wasn’t down was just 30 seconds into the 1st half when the game was tied at 0. Iowa finished the game with a 61% field goal percentage, and a 65% three-point shooting percentage. Surprisingly, Iowa lead the game in turnovers with 15. However, that was about one of the only things that the Hawkeyes didn’t do right.

Iowa will now have a rematch with Rutgers on Friday. The last meeting was won by Rutgers 48-46.
