Carnell Tate released his Top 5 schools Tuesday evening from his Twitter account, with the Ohio State Buckeyes being the only B1G school to make it in.
The other schools that made Tate’s list are Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. Tate is listed as a 5-star WR from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida per the 247Sports Composite. Tate is the 21st-ranked nationally, 3rd-ranked WR from the class of 2023, and 7th-ranked player from his home state of Florida.
Here is the post where Tate announced his list:

Ohio State isn’t the only team from the B1G that has offered Tate, however. Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, and Purdue have all offered Tate so far.
Tate would be the first WR and 5-star recruit from the class of 2023 to commit to the Buckeyes if ends up choosing them. We’ll see if Tate decides to stay down south, or head up north to Columbus for his college career.
