Ohio State secures first-ever national title in women’s hockey

Add another title to the tally in Columbus!
On Sunday, Ohio State picked up its first-ever national title in women’s hockey. The Buckeyes captured the national title by beating Minnesota Duluth in the Frozen Four Championship.

Kenzie Hauswirth, Clair DeGeorge, and Paetyn Levis scored goals for the Buckeyes with Hauswirth’s goal becoming the game-winner. She scored inside 7 minutes remaining in the final period of the game as the defense held on for the win.
