Wisconsin’s Chucky Hepburn went down in the first half of Sunday’s game against Iowa State. While it is still unclear how serious that injury is, his status for the remainder of the game has been updated.

The Badgers announced that Hepburn will be unable to return to action. Hepburn has since been spotted in crutches and a walking boot on his left leg. The injury appeared to be to Hepburn’s ankle with it rolling when he tried to plant his foot.

Wisconsin has been severely limited through the first portion of the second half with Johnny Davis still struggling to get rolling. He opened the game shooting 3-for-10 from the field with Brad Davison trying to power the Badgers so far.

If Wisconsin is hoping to reach the Sweet 16, Davis will need to come alive over the final 12 minutes or the Badgers may be heading home with an upset at the hands of 11-seed Iowa State.
