Ohio State tight end Jeremy Ruckert will reportedly miss the team’s pro day on Wednesday because of a foot injury. It also kept him from working out during the 2022 NFL Combine earlier this month.
Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors reported on Wednesday that Ruckert was in a walking boot and was unlikely to participate in the drills during pro day. The former Buckeye tight end is thought to be one of the best at his position in this year’s draft class.
Ruckert was battling plantar fasciitis during the combine, preventing him from participating.

During the 2021 season, Ruckert caught 26 passes for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Buckeyes ended the year with an 11-2 record, which included a Rose Bowl victory over Utah.
In an offense that featured three incredible receivers in Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ruckert still found a way to be a vital part of the production.
Ruckert hauled in 54 catches for 615 yards and 12 touchdowns during his career with the Buckeyes.
