Michigan traveled into SEC country and is returning home with a commitment from a talented running back out of Georgia.
Benjamin Hall, a 3-star running back from Kennesaw, gave his verbal pledge to the Wolverines on Tuesday afternoon. The 5-foot-10, 225-pound running back out of North Cobb High School picked Michigan over offers from 18 other programs.
At the Power 5 level, Hall received interest from Boston College, Minnesota, Purdue, South Carolina, Utah, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Per 247Sports, Hall ranks as a Top 50 running back in the 2023 recruiting class and is a Top 75 prospect out of the talent-rich state of Georgia. During the 2021 season, he totaled 543 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground and also caught 12 passes for 110 yards.
Earlier this year, Hall was named the RB MVP of the Under Armour All-America Camp Series in Atlanta.

Michigan’s 2023 recruiting class is now up to 7 verbal commitments. It currently ranks in the Top 10 nationally and is a Top 3 class in the B1G.
