Ohio State basketball officially introduced a key transfer Thursday night.

The player is Tanner Holden, a 6-foot-6 guard who joins the Buckeyes via transfer from Wright State out of the Horizon League. He comes to Ohio State after averaging 20 points per game for the Raiders last season.

Holden will have two years of eligibility left in Columbus.

Over three seasons, Holden made 91 starts for Wright State and has career averages of 16.1 points per game with 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals. He was a two-time All-Horizon contributor.

During the First Four of the NCAA Tournament, Holden posted a 37-point, 11-rebound double-double vs. Bryant. The Raiders would lose to Arizona in the Round of 64.
