The NFL Draft has almost arrived.

With the end of April nearing, the 2022 NFL Draft is less than a week away and several stars from the college football ranks will hear their names called on the big stage. Lifelong dreams are about to become a reality.

The B1G is often a conference that produces some of the most talent selected in the NFL Draft, typically behind the SEC. There are a lot of stars from the league expected to be picked again this year.

Which teams have had the most success in the NFL Draft in recent years? Some of the teams at the top might be obvious. Others might be a tad surprising.

Here’s a look at how many NFL Draft picks every B1G school has produced over the last 5 years (2017-21):

1. Ohio State Buckeyes — 43 picks

2. Michigan Wolverines — 36 picks

3. Penn State Nittany Lions — 24 picks

4. Iowa Hawkeyes — 20 picks

5. Wisconsin Badgers — 19 picks

T-6. Maryland Terrapins – 9 picks

T-6. Minnesota Golden Gophers – 9 picks

T-8. Michigan State Spartans – 7 picks

T-8. Northwestern Wildcats – 7 picks

T-10. Indiana Hoosiers – 6 picks

T-10. Nebraska Cornhuskers – 6 picks

T-10. Purdue Boilermakers – 6 picks

T-13. Illinois Fighting Illini – 4 picks
