It wasn’t the easiest road to the 2022 NFL Draft for Michigan edge rusher David Ojabo. He tore his achilles during Michigan’s pro day, and was just taken with the 45th pick in the 2nd round by the Baltimore Ravens.
Ojabo immediately broke down after hearing his name called on Friday night, rightfully so after what he’s been through. He was a 2nd-team All-American this past season for the Wolverines. He also was 2nd on the team in sacks (11) and solo tackles (24).
Here is the video of his reaction from the NFL’s Twitter account:

Ojabo is also reuniting with former Wolverine DC Mike Macdonald. Macdonald just joined the Ravens for the same role this past offseason.
It’s been a tough, long road for Ojabo to get to the NFL. Looks like all his hard work has finally paid off.
