2022 NFL Draft: 3 B1G players selected in Round 5

The fifth round was the least active for the B1G of the 2022 NFL Draft. Only 3 players from the conference heard their names called.

The 3-player total was the lowest for the conference this draft. The league produced 7 selections in each of the first four rounds.

Indiana linebacker Micah McFadden was the first B1G player selected in the fifth round on Saturday afternoon and was also the first Hoosier on the board. With IU having a player picked, 12 of the 14 schools had at least 1 selection through the fifth round.
