The 2022 NFL Draft is freshly in the books after wrapping up on Saturday, but it is never too early to look ahead to next year!

One takeaway from this year’s draft was a weak QB class with Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett being the only one to come off the board in the first round. That is not expected to be the case next year with Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Alabama’s Bryce Young expected to headline the 2023 NFL Draft.

Following the conclusion of this year’s draft, Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox released his early first-round mock draft for 2023. It included 7 B1G stars throughout.

  • 1. Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State
  • 4. Carolina Panthers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State
  • 7. Chicago Bears: Ryan Hayes, OT, Michigan
  • 11. Pittsburgh Steelers: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State
  • 12. Philadelphia Eagles: Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
  • 18. Houston Texans: Dontay Demus, WR, Maryland
  • 19. Arizona Cardinals: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

It will be interesting to see how this mock draft stacks up following the 2022 college football season.
