Dickey is listed as a 6-foot-2, 210-pound wide receiver who attends Valley Christian out of East Palo Alto. He ranks as a Top 130 overall prospect in the class and is the No. 9 player out of California, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
From 247Sports national recruiting analyst Chris Singletary:
Good change of direction as well as the ability to get in and out of his cuts easily. Does a good job of sticking his foot in the ground and pivoting on his routes when he is dropping his weight to make his move. He has soft hands and doesn’t fight the ball, very natural in catching the ball and making a football move. Uses excellent body control when going up for 50/50 balls.
Per 247Sports, Dickey saw a majority of snaps during the 2021 season at wide receiver but also got in some work on the defensive side of the football.
Penn State currently owns the nation’s No. 4 class for the 2023 cycle and is No. 1 in the B1G.
