Ohio State is adding an experienced guard from the Big 12 to its roster.

Isaac Likekele, a former Oklahoma State guard, has committed to Ohio State. He made the announcement with a post on social media on Wednesday. It provides Chris Holtmann with some much-needed depth after seeing EJ Liddell and Malaki Branham both declare for the NBA Draft.

The Buckeyes also lost guard Meechie Johnson to transfer.

Likekele spent the last four seasons at Oklahoma State and played in 114 career contests for the Cowboys. He started in all but 4 games during his time in Stillwater.

Last season, Likekele averaged 7.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals. He played in nearly 31 minutes per game and shot over 43% from the floor.

Likelele posted a career-high scoring average of 10.9 points per game during the 2019-20 campaign. He also averaged 4.5 assists, another career high. His 6.6 rebounds per contest in 2020-21 was the best average during his time with the Cowboys.

At Ohio State, Likekele will have one year of eligibility to use.
