Jermaine Couisnard, B1G transfer target out of South Carolina, sets decision date

One veteran prospect in the transfer portal is getting set to make his decision for the 2022-23 basketball season, and 2 B1G programs are in the running.
Jermaine Couisnard is a 6-foot-4 guard who has appeared in 73 career games at South Carolina over the past three seasons. Now in the transfer portal, Couisnard is considering Maryland and Ohio State among a list that includes Gonzaga, DePaul, Oregon, Houston and UMass.
According to Jon Rothstein with CBS Sports, Couisnard is going to announce his plans on Thursday:

Couisnard has career averages of 11.6 points per game with 2.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and a steal while shooting 37% from the field. He averaged 12 points during the 2021-22 season.
