Spring football is officially behind us.
With teams at the FBS level wrapping up spring practice in late April and early May, we’ve reached that lull in the year when there’s very little college football happenings until summer workouts and fall camp. Recruiting will continue to keep us occupied in the summer months, but this is truly the slow season for college football fans.
And because spring is in the rearview mirror and there’s not much else to discuss, why not release a post-spring Top 25? FOX college football analyst RJ Young did that this week.
Now that we’ve seen every team in college football run through spring practice, Young is ready to provide his post-spring rankings as we prepare for the 2022 season. Here’s what it looks like:
#1 Alabama Crimson Tide
#2 Ohio State Buckeyes
#3 Georgia Bulldogs
#4 Texas A&M Aggies
#5 Baylor Bears
#6 Arkansas Razorbacks
#7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
#8 Texas Longhorns
#9 Oklahoma Sooners
#10 Ole Miss Rebels
#11 Utah Utes
#12 Clemson Tigers
#13 Michigan State Spartans
#14 Michigan Wolverines

Do you agree with Young’s Top 25? Or, if there are some changes, which teams should be ranked or which should be dropped?
