Friday turned into a busy day on the recruiting trail for Wisconsin with a pair of 2023 prospects locking in commitments.

The first commitment came from Justin Taylor, a 3-star ATH out of Illinois. Taylor became the 3rd commitment of the cycle for the Badgers.

After that, the Badgers landed a commitment from Jauez Keyes, a 3-star running back out of Ohio.

“First I want to say thank you to everyone who’s helped mold me into a young man,” wrote Keyes in his announcement. “Can’t thank my teammates and coaches enough for pushing me to by my best and allowing me to be a part of this special culture. Ironton has changed my life…with that being said I am committing to #RBU and the University of Wisconsin.”

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 207 lbs., the 247 Sports Composite Rankings list Keyes as the No. 28 RB nationally and No. 10 player out of Ohio for 2023. Keyes held offers from Iowa, Pittsburgh, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and others.

Keyes’ commitment brings Wisconsin’s class of 2023 up to 4 commitments for the cycle. He is the highest-rated commitment for that group.
