The folks in Vegas don’t think Ohio State’s separation from the B1G title is going to last too long. Based on the recent spreads from FanDuel, the Buckeyes are in store for a big bounce-back year in 2022.

Ohio State closed out the 2021 campaign with an 11-2 record, falling short of a B1G title and a College Football Playoff berth. With the returning talent and the staff changes Ryan Day made after the year ended, the money is on the Buckeyes to return to the top of the conference.

Per FanDuel’s early spreads, the Buckeyes will be a double-digit favorite in every game they play in 2022.

Spreads for all 12 games on Ohio State’s slate has not yet been released, but lines for the 5 key games for the Buckeyes are already set. It’s an indication that Day’s squad will be heavily favored in every contest — at least as of now.

Here’s a look at the 5 lines that have been set:

  • Notre Dame vs. Ohio State (-13.5)
  • Wisconsin vs. Ohio State (-16)
  • Iowa vs. Ohio State (-21)
  • Ohio State (-13) vs. Penn State
  • Michigan vs. Ohio State (-14)

The other 7 opponents on Ohio State’s schedule include Arkansas State, Toledo, Rutgers, Michigan State, Northwestern, Indiana and Maryland. It’s hard to imagine any of those lines being set under 10 points.
