Salary updates have been provided for Indiana men’s basketball assistant coaches. Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star provided the information on Wednesday.
Kenya Hunter, Yasir Rosemond and Brian Walsh will all see pay increases for the 2022-23 season. The news comes after the Hoosiers reached their first NCAA Tournament since 2016.
Indiana will be entering the second year under Mike Woodson next season.
Hunter and Rosemond will each make $375,000 for the upcoming season. Last season, Hunter earned a salary of $350,000 while Rosemond was paid $300,000.
IU basketball salary updates after the spring staff shuffle:
>> Kenya Hunter rose from $350,000 to $375,000.
>> Yasir Rosemond rose from $300,000 to $375,000.
>> Both got new two-year deals, both now associate head coaches.

Walsh is scheduled to make $225,000 as he enters his first year as an assistant coach. He had previously spent the last five years working as the recruiting coordinator and director of basketball operations.
Indiana ended last season with a 21-14 record under Woodson, reaching the NCAA Tournament as a No. 12 seed. The Hoosiers defeated Wyoming in the First Four and fell to St. Mary’s in the Round of 64.
