Rain, rain go away, the B1G wants to see its baseball tournament get underway.
Despite the conference’s best efforts, Wednesday will not be the first day of the B1G Baseball Tournament this year. Inclement weather in the Omaha area has postponed the opening round of this year’s event.
The conference released a statement just before 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
“Bad news, #B1GBaseball fans… Due to the threat of inclement weather, today’s games are officially postponed,” the league said on Twitter. “We appreciate your patience as we continue to work through the rescheduling process.”
