Maryland basketball to take part in non-conference competition at Barclays Center, per report

Maryland basketball is going to head to Brooklyn for one of its non-conference games during the 2022-23 season.
According to Jon Rothstein with CBS Sports, the Terrapins will take part in a quadruple-header at the Barclays Center. That series is set for Sunday, Dec. 11 with Maryland set to take on Tennessee out of the SEC.
The other matchups are reported to be Oklahoma State vs. Virginia Tech, Iona vs. St. Bonaventure and UMass vs. Hofstra. Tip-off times are yet to be determined.
NEWS: The Barclays Center will host a quadruple header on 12/11, according to multiple sources.

Maryland went 15-17 last season with Danny Manning leading the team for much of the season following the sudden resignation of Mark Turgeon. Kevin Willard is entering his first season leading the program after serving as the head coach at Seton Hall from 2010-22.
