The B1G has produced some impressively elite pass-rushers in recent history. Now, those players are beginning to take the NFL by storm.

On Sunday, Pro Football Focus revealed its list of top-5 Edge rushers in the NFL under 25 as compiled by analyst Trevor Sikkema. That list was dominated by the B1G with 3 players from the conference, including the top slots on the list.

The players represented out of the B1G were Nick Bosa and Chase Young (No. 1 and No. 4, respectively) out of Ohio State and Rashan Gary out of Michigan (No. 2).

Bosa has been widely regarded as one of the top pass-rushers in the NFL since compiling 9 sacks and winning Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2019. After missing much of the 2020 season due to injury, he rebounded with 15.5 sacks, 21 TFL and 4 forced fumbles in 2021.

Though Gary had a much slower start to his NFL career, he blossomed into an integral piece of Green Bay’s defense last season. During the 2021 campaign, he finished with 9.5 sacks, 8 TFL, 28 QB hits and 2 forced fumbles while setting career-high marks in every category.

Young captured the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020 but faces the tough task of trying to come back from an ACL injury in 2022. In 24 career games, Young has 9 sacks, 13 TFL and 6 forced fumbles as he tries to get back onto the field.
