Maryland makes top group for 2023 OT recruit out of Philadelphia

Naquil Betrand has been publicly committed to Colorado since March 22, but he is still considering his options. The class of 2023 offensive tackle out of Philadelphia recently included Maryland in his group of top teams.
Mike Locksley’s Terrapins are in Betrand’s top 10 teams along with Colorado, Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia, Kentucky, Syracuse, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

Betrand is listed at 6-7, 310 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 20 Pennsylvania product, No. 74 offensive tackle and No. 847 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
