Aidan Hutchinson spoke about what the jump from college to the NFL has been like so far. It looks like he isn’t having any problems at the moment according to Kyle Meinke of Mlive.com

Hutchinson seems very confident in his abilities to produce no matter what the offensive line throws his way. He stated that if you are good enough, the scheme that you are thrown into won’t matter as long as your abilities are all there.

“If you’re a really good football player, you’re going to be able to be a great player in any scheme,” said Hutchinson. “I know in every scheme I’m going to be dominant as a football player.”

He also stated that he is currently just trying to retain as much information as he can before training camp starts. It sounds like he knows what people expect of him coming into his rookie year.

“I know my expectations,” Hutchinson said. “I pride myself on not making the same mistake twice, that’s something that I really try to do a lot, and that’s how I know I’m going to keep this upward trajectory. I’m just going to continue to learn and grow every single day I’m out here. I can really feel it too. Every day I learn something new. I’m screwing up, but it’s OK because that’s kind of what it takes to take that next step.”

The Detroit Lions kick off the 2022 season against the Philadelphia Eagles Sept. 11 at home at 1 p.m. ET on Fox.
