Penn State adds commitment from in-state WR for class of 2023

Penn State added a commitment from a receiver on Sunday as the Nittany Lions continue to lock down the state. The Nittany Lions are also tracking toward a top-5 recruiting class nationally for the 2023 cycle.
Over the weekend, Yazeed Haynes announced his commitment to Penn State. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 170 lbs., Haynes is a 3-star WR out of North Penn High School in Fort Washington, PA.
He committed to the Nittany Lions over other B1G offers from Rutgers, Maryland and Minnesota.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Haynes is the No. 17 player out of Pennsylvania for the cycle. He is also the No. 81 receiver nationally for the class of 2023.
Haynes becomes the 13th total commitment for Penn State’s 2023 recruiting class with that group ranked No. 3 nationally. He is also the 5th commitment for the Nittany Lions out of Pennsylvania for the cycle.
