Northwestern unveils revamped uniforms for 2022 season

Northwestern will have some new uniforms for the 2022 season. For the revamped look, the Wildcats are going vintage with a look that was originally used 94 years ago.

Known as the “Northwestern Stripes,” the new uniforms for the Wildcats will have shoulder stripes on the sleeves. These stripes were originally used during the 1928 season and will be used on all 4 uniforms of the Wildcats.

The black uniform will feature a thick purple stripe with thin white stripes on either side. The purple uniform will feature a bold white stripe with thin white stripes with the white uniform featuring purple stripes.

Northwestern will also have black, purple and white pants available to pair with the uniforms. The Wildcats released a look at the threads Tuesday morning:
