The No. 2 player in the 2024 class is ready to get to campus.
Dylan Raiola visited Ohio State Tuesday for the first time since committing in May. He was left ‘speechless’ working with not only head coach Ryan Day, but 5-star commits Brandon Inniss and Carnell Tate.
“I’m speechless,” Raiola said via Cleveland.com. “I learned so much from him. I’m just taking it in like a sponge. That was my biggest thing coming here was to get back out here and learn as much as I can before I get here.”
At the end of the day, he has the same goal Day has.
“He kept proving the point of why I came here and why I did it so early,” Raiola said. “Having Carnell, Brandon, Bryson — and hopefully Noah next — around me to throw the ball to and make plays. We’re trying to win a couple of national championships. That’s the goal.”
Raiola will spend at least one year with 2023 prospects Tate and Inniss, barring transfer or injury. There’s a chance Ohio State will add to its versatile class in the near future with 4-star receiver Noah Rogers also considering the Buckeyes.
For those counting at home, adding Rogers would finalize a 2023 cycle with 4 of the top 35 receivers in the nation, including 4-star receiver Bryson Rodgers who committed in April.
