The early portion of the college basketball season is always headlined by some intriguing non-conference matchups across the country. One event that always shines a spotlight on some cool matchups is the annual ACC/B1G Challenge.

The challenge is back once again in 2022, and this year provides another strong slate of games. One of the headlining matchups is set to involve Mike Woodson’s Hoosiers.

According to the B1G’s official announcement, Indiana will play host to North Carolina in 2022. That matchup will pit Trayce Jackson-Davis against Armando Bacot in an anticipated battle of big men.

Illinois and Wisconsin – co-champs of the B1G last season – will host Syracuse and Wake Forest, respectively. Ohio State will travel to face Duke for Jon Scheyer’s first year as head coach of the Blue Devils while Michigan State will travel to face Notre Dame. Purdue at Florida State and Michigan at Virginia are other key matchups.
