2023 offensive tackle Luke Montgomery is one of the key pieces of Ohio State’s 2023 class.
The glitz and glamour of Carnell Tate, Noah Rogers and Brandon Inniss are important, of course, but the Buckeyes will certainly need the No. 1 player in the state of Ohio for the future of their program.
Former Buckeye Cardale Jones knows that.
Great to meet Buckeye Legend Cardale Jones today. I appreciate the words of wisdom on his experiences at THE Ohio State University🌰🌰 @CJ1two pic.twitter.com/X7vPJGjV0J

Jones doesn’t thrive at Ohio State without talented lineman such as Montgomery in the trenches. The No. 4 offensive tackle in the country will likely block for 2022 quarterback commit Devin Brown. The Buckeyes do not have a 2023 quarterback commitment yet, though they are chasing Georgia prospect and 4-star signal caller Dylan Lonergan.
