Michigan State’s pursuit of another elite prospect is winding down, and the Spartans are still in the mix for a strong defensive back in the class of 2023.

On Tuesday, 4-star cornerback Caleb Presley dropped his top 6 schools still in the mix. Mel Tucker’s Spartans made the cut alongside Alabama, Oregon, UCLA, Washington and Texas A&M.

Presley also has a commitment date set for July 5, exactly two weeks from his top 6 reveal.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Presley is a 4-star recruit and the No. 9 CB nationally for the class of 2023. He also cracks the top-100 prospects in the nation and is the No. 2 player out of Washington.

Presley has already made it to East Lansing for an official visit, and that trip appeared to go well. He reacted favorably to the time spent with Mel Tucker and the Spartan staff on social media after a weekend at MSU.
