The Elite 11 camp came to end in Los Angeles on Thursday. Penn State commit Marcus Stokes spoke about his performance in a recent interview with 247Sports’ Josh Pate and Steve Wiltfong.
Stokes is a 4-star QB out of Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida per the 247Sports Composite. He is the only QB commit for James Franklin’s 2023 recruiting class. He committed to the Nittany Lions in April, and took an official visit to Happy Valley on Jun. 10. Here’s what he had to say about his time at the Elite 11 camp, and what it was like to get recruited by Penn State:
“I felt like I did ok,” said Stokes. “I’m excited to get to Penn State. Work harder, get better in the offseason. Ever since I walked in Penn State for the first time it’s been straight love, and I could tell it wasn’t fake. All straight love towards me and my family. The staff is great, the atmosphere is great and I can’t wait to play in front of 107,000 people.”
