Michigan has another commitment for the class of 2023, edging some B1G competition for the pledge in the process.

On Friday, 3-star receiver Fredrick Moore out of Cardinal Ritter College Prep in St. Louis, Missouri announced his commitment to Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines. He landed on a Michigan commitment over Illinois and Minnesota in the B1G with Cincinnati and Texas A&M also on his list of finalists.

Listed 6-feet and 175 lbs., Moore checks in as a 3-star prospect and No. 61 WR nationally by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He becomes the 7th player committed to the Wolverines for the 2023 cycle with that group ranked 53rd nationally by the team recruiting rankings.

“My primary reason for choosing the University of Michigan is that it felt like a place I felt safe at,” Moore explained per Allen Trieu with 247 Sports. “And I had a really close relationship with Coach Bellamy…I talked to Coach Harbaugh and he’s a cool guy. There was also a lot of little stuff outside of football. Academically, I know I can excel and on the field, I can win a Big Ten Championship and go to the NFL by going to the University of Michigan, so that’s really why I chose Michigan.”
