Ohio State has a new playing surface inside the Horseshoe ahead of the 2022 season.

After enlisting the help of fans early in the offseason, the Buckeyes embarked on replacing the turf with a transformation process inside Ohio Stadium. That process was recently completed with the start of fall camp coming soon down the road.

On Tuesday, Ohio State unveiled a time-lapse look at the transformation in replacing the surface. After a lot of hard work and hours, the new turf looks great:

It will not take long for the new turf to get broken in. Ohio State opens the season at home with a marquee non-conference showdown vs. Notre Dame on Sept. 3.

Wisconsin and Iowa are also among the key home games for the Buckeyes in 2022. And who can forget TTUN? The Wolverines come to town for the regular-season finale with Ohio State gunning for some payback from a loss in 2021.
