The 2022 season hasn’t even started yet and we already have our first PFF Big Board for the 2023 NFL Draft.
2 Ohio State Buckeyes made the cut, according to PFF’s lead draft analyst Mike Renner.
Sophomore quarterback CJ Stroud and junior receiver Jackson Smith-Njigba round out the Ohio State representatives. Stroud falls behind only Alabama quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young and Alabama junior Will Anderson.
Stroud and Young are the only quarterbacks listed within the top 10, with Stanford’s Tanner McKee ranked at No. 17.
Smith-Njigba is the second highest rated receiver on the board, just behind LSU’s Kayshon Boutte. His ball skills and elite route running will make him a hot commodity despite his lack of elite speed and size.
A few more Buckeyes cracked the top 50, including offensive tackle Paris Johnson and senior edge defender Zach Harrison.
