Michigan State commit Jeremy Fears leads Team USA to FIBA U17 World Cup Gold

Michigan State commit Jeremy Fears and Team USA are gold medalists.

Fears led all scorers in the FIBA U17 Finals match against Spain, dropping 17 points and 6 assists to secure the victory, 79-67.

Fears is considered to be the No. 1 player from the state of Indiana and will arrive in East Lansing in 2023. He represents head coach Tom Izzo’s lone commitment of the 2023 class to this point.

This is the sixth straight gold medal at the U17 World Cup for Team USA.

Fears scored 18 with 5 assists to send Team USA to the final versus Lithuania in the semifinal stage.
