Zach Twedt did not see any action for the Iowa Hawkeyes his freshman year.
The former all-state linebacker was injured his senior campaign and upon arriving in Iowa City, sat out after participating in spring practice. In 2021, he won the special teams Team Leader Award for the Hawkeyes.
On Monday, the redshirt freshman was recognized for helping an individual who was stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire.

That’s a cool move by Twedt. It’s hard not to smile at random acts of kindness.
