6 B1G stars land on PFF’s preseason big board for 2023 NFL Draft

The preseason ramp-up for the 2022 season rolls along as teams prepare for media days and the upcoming start of fall camp. That continued Tuesday morning Pro Football Focus putting out its preseason big board for prospects eligible for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Inside the top 10, Ohio State had a pair of prospects with QB CJ Stroud (No. 3) and WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (No. 10). Both Buckeyes are rated as the No. 2 players at their positions behind Alabama QB Bryce Young and LSU WR Kayshon Boutte.
In total, 6 B1G stars made PFF’s top 50 with Ohio State leading the way:
- No. 3 – QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State
- No. 10 – WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State
- No. 14 – OT Peter Skoronski, Northwestern
- No. 22 – OT Paris Johnson Jr., Ohio State
- No. 41 – Edge Zach Harrison, Ohio State
- No. 45 – LB Jack Campbell, Iowa

It will be interesting to see which of these plays prove worthy of their rankings and which players fall off throughout the fall. And of course, no season will be complete without surprise stars coming to the forefront.
