Wisconsin adds commitment from highly-touted LS to 2023 recruiting class

Wisconsin has added a long snapper to its 2023 recruiting class with a commitment coming on Friday.
The player is Keane Bessert, a 6-foot-2 and 220 lb. long snapper out of Colorado. Bessert announced his commitment to Wisconsin via social media.
“A big thanks to Chris Rubio and Dan Linsacum for bettering me athletically, mentally and on a personal level,” Bessert wrote on Twitter. “With that being said, I am excited to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic journey at the number 1 college town in the US, The University of Wisconsin…Proud to say I’m going to be a Wisconsin Badger!”

According to RubioLongSnapping.com, Bessert has received a 5-star ranking at the position. He also ranks as the No. 6 long snapper in the class of 2023 by the website.
The criteria for a 5-star rating via Rubio Long Snapping is “FBS Freshman Year Starter, Scholarship Pick.”
