Penn State’s run on the 2023 recruiting class continues on, landing another elite defender Friday evening.
This time around, the commitment comes from 4-star Edge prospect Ta’Mere Robinson out of Brashear High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Robinson was another key in-state prospect for the Nittany Lions with James Franklin’s staff pulling out a commitment Friday. Robinson shared the news during an Instagram live segment.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Robinson is a 4-star recruit, the No. 13 Edge prospect nationally and No. 3 player out of Pennsylvania for the cycle. He is also the 137th overall recruit in the country regardless of position.
The commitment is another big one of the week for Penn State. The Nittany Lions also snagged a pledge from 4-star LB Tony Rojas on Thursday, and earlier in the week, it was 4-star RB London Montgomery committing to Penn State.
As things currently stand, Penn State is on its way to a top-5 recruiting class for 2023.
