J.K. Dobbins is working his way back from a torn ACL during preseason action leading up to last year’s NFL season. On Monday, he took to Twitter to update his rehab and refute certain reports.

It began when NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Dobbins was not expected to be ready for Week 1 with the Baltimore Ravens. While Rapoport said there were no setbacks in Dobbins’ rehab, Rapoport also said Baltimore had “no incentives” to rush the star back onto the field.

That report did not sit well with Dobbins. He responded on Twitter, telling Rapoport to “come to me for your source.” Dobbins went on to say “I’m damn sure going to be ready for week 1.”

In a follow-up tweet, Dobbins said he would post videos of his rehab, but he wants everyone to see the work that went in “on the biggest stage.

Dobbins rushed for 805 yards and 9 touchdowns while averaging 6 yards per carry as a rookie in 2020 before missing all of the 2021 season. Hopefully he’s able to hit the field early and post a strong comeback in 2022.
