PFF has 6 B1G OL on preseason list of top 25 IOL in the country

As things ramp up for the 2022 college football season, publications across the country have been unveiling their lists of the most important pieces for the college football season.

On Wednesday, Pro Football Focus released their list for top interior offensive linemen in the country. Included in the top 10 was a trio of centers out of the B1G.

Minnesota’s John Michael Schmitz was included as the No. 2 center on the list and the No. 4 IOL nationally. Michigan’s Olusegun “Victor” Oluwatimi and Ohio State’s Luke Wypler were not far behind.

In total, 6 players out of the B1G were included:

  • 4. John Michael Schmitz, C, Minnesota
  • 5. Olusegun “Victor” Oluwatimi, C, Michigan
  • 6. Luke Wypler, C, Ohio State
  • 16. Matthew Jones, G, Ohio State
  • 17. Joe Tippman, C, Wisconsin
  • 19. JD Duplain, G, Michigan State

It will be interesting to see how these players fit in with their respective units this fall.
