Rutgers lands 16th commitment for 2023 with pledge from in-state WR

Rutgers is working on putting together its 2023 recruiting class and picked up another in-state prospect.
Friday evening, the Scarlet Knights received a commitment from Famah Toure, an in-state receiver out of Irvington High School in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 195 lbs., Toure is the younger brother of Rutgers LB Mohamed Toure.
Famah Toure landed on Rutgers over other finalists in Illinois and Kentucky.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Toure is a 3-star recruit and the No. 139 WR in the country for the class of 2023. He is also rated the 17th best player out of New Jersey for the cycle.
With Toure’s commitment, Rutgers’ recruiting class checks in at No. 38 nationally by the team recruiting rankings. That group currently includes 5 in-state prospects out of New Jersey.
